Quietly, the agent slipped into a side street, loud footsteps of his pursuers disappearing into the next street - good, that gave him a little time - but unlike usual, he couldn’t just take to the rooftops… there were trained huntsmen and they would be up there waiting for him to go ahead and try. 

That left him a simple option. 

Moving along shadows, Salim made his way down another narrow side road and casually, in the darkness moved into public toilets. They were mostly unused but they were also perfectly suitable for a quick outfit change; the plan would be a downtown callgirl - since it would give plenty reason why he’d be slinking around during odd hours of the night in a questionable neck of the woods. 

Before reaching the inclines towards the toilets, someone ducked out, the agent hesitating immediately before fingers lifted up, ready for a weapon grab. Fortunately the hooded figure only lopsided towards the wall and slid past, stinking strongly of alcohol and tobacco and muttering some incoherent line about who knew what. Wrinkling a nose, the agent moved onward, glancing over his shoulder before disappearing into the women’s toilets.

It didn’t take a moment to move into a stall and lock it behind, tugging out a few supplies from his inner pocket and settling down on the surprisingly clean toilet seat, though when his rump made contact, his eyes widened in dire realisation. The overall stink would have concealed old tracks of whomever had been here before him; leading him to go for whichever stall had the door open. His eyeliner was already grasped at the ready so even when an awful sensation shot through to his face, the eyework continued; but god be damned for that dreadful…. disgusting feeling… that was the toilet seat being warm.

No one else had exited the toilets when Salim entered which left him with one conclusion; the hooded drunkard had been sitting in this very seat… doing whatever the hell it was they were doing.

The cringe was real.

He’s totally vague enough for me to enjoy working on but at the same time full of solid ground, he’s not wishy washy. WOULD YOU DATE YOUR MUSE?:  uhh YAASSS. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE KINDS OF THREADS?: I’m totally open to be honest. I like plotting, but I like to also keep it as simple as possible because If I plot so much that I know what will happen, I’ll end up losing motivation to write it- having said that i do need to when I’m not sure where to take a thread or where to start one. I really like playing off of memes? Sudden and awkward situations are great and works really well with a dweeb like Salim who could literally be anywhere at anytime due to his kind of job.  ARE YOU A SELECTIVE ROLEPLAYER? I can be? But only when I’m feeling bogged down by a heavy load - so if I’ve got a lot of threads going on with multiple people, I can become selective in relation to who I’ll prioritise or not, but in terms of who I’ll actually play with? I’m pretty open. Just don’t drag me into drama or I’ll backflip out the stratosphere.  DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MUSE? I think Salim comes pretty damn high on my list... but I have a soft spot for the time I played Nathan Drake. WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE FANDOM? Hey dude, I’m fandomless ;)  DO YOU SEE YOURSELF STAYING WITH THE FANDOM FOR A LONG TIME? I like dropping into fandoms all over, but I’ve played in fandoms for long enough, so moving away from them is pretty damn nice.

with a playful grin, the agent re-aligned himself and very swiftly, swept the light-haired youth from the floor and into his arms, a grin starting from one side of his cheek and ending in a full stop in the shape of a small dimple. 

“As you can see, I’m very good for a hug or two~”, and with that, he let out a laugh and rested his forehead against Aiko’s, “… does that answer you questions princess?”

He had been so close.  

But alas… Salim had been caught. As he had reached for the door handle and slowly pried it open, it had promptly been slammed shut by a firmly outstretched hand. Blinking a few times, mineral tinted eyes wandered over the small knuckles that bared themselves against the door, however, he dared not look towards her countenance… the mere presence was hostile enough even without eye to eye contact.  

Attempting surrender by lifting two hands up would be for nought as doing so only brought an onslaught of pain to his shoulders - they had been wounded while on mission only recently and though they had been treated appropriately by his team leader, the ache had never ceased and whenever he had pushed his shoulder blades too far it would result in immediate pain. Sighing slightly, he moved his head a little, waiting for some kind of response. Nothing. With another deep sigh, the agent fidgeted on the spot until finally his face lifted and he was looking directly down at his nurse friend’s incredulous expression. Oh boy…  Was he in for it.  

“Before you say anything…. I’ve already had it looked at… a-and I wasn’t trying to run- - - I was just….heading for… the toilet….”

His eyes shifted to the side so he didn’t have to watch his words fail to reassure his kind-hearted friend - though even he didn’t expect her to pin him against the door.

If there was anything Salim had learned from the sweet and gentle cacti god Aiko… It was that her brother was a force not to be trifled with - though it hadn’t come from her mouth… Even for a seasoned killer, fraudster and thief such as himself, Daiki was different to the usual foe; the writer bore not strength but a respectable position as a brother of his dear friend. The agent would not really want to make his position any worse by inquiring his anger.

However, despite the danger posed to , Daiki proved charming to most around him… it seemed it was only the tall foreign sounding man that had become a target for his abuse and ire; perhaps it was retribution for all those crimes committed in the darkness…the agent decided.

One thing that had been observed over time was unless provoked, even Salim wouldn’t incur his physical wrath – Though it never really hurt to be assaulted by the older brother, it was fairly unwanted all the same. Unfortunately for him, tonight would be another night of difficulty between them… and like many times, he didn’t know what had been the cause.

Bright but dangerous greens mirrored his own and any movement would result in immediate death… At least that was what it must have felt like. A lean arm had sprung its way beside him, a clattering slam from palm hitting wood as the much shorter of the two pinned the taller solidly against the wall – if not for the threatening hand on his other shoulder tugging him down a little, this scene could have looked more humorous than it already did.  

Usually, there would have had to have been some prior confrontation but this had been unwarranted; the fraudster had sensed when he was no longer alone but had only bothered to say a quiet hello considering the amenity between them, the last thing expected was that, without warning, the distance between them would close substantially and an arm had to be raised to the bookshelf to stop Salim being completely pressed up against it.

Silence surmounted and the tension between them grew in the furthest corner of the bookstore - happened to be out at the moment, having left the store to be taken care of by his part-time clerk - that hadn’t been a problem originally and the agent had slipped in during a busy spell to see if a book he was hunting down happened to have been traded in recently. It had been unorthodox of him but while he was in the corner of the store and the customers had retired for the afternoon it seemed that Daiki had something he wanted to discuss with Aiko’s friend.

Awkwardly, the silence was finally shattered as a sharp breath was taken in before slowly and quietly The East Wind mumbled in slight confusion:

“Um…Dai…. Akh. Before you send me to hell… At least tell me what I did this time”

Ah. Whatever had led to this, it was probably likely that Salim deserved it, but regardless and in typical flair, he would deny all charges.  

It had been unexpected, unconsidered that would break his cool, Salim had, after all, come to know him as calculative, fairly level-headed and casual enough to have a few laughs flowing on a good night…so when the loud resounding slam had stunned the agent out of his thoughts, he had initially assumed they were in imminent danger or perhaps his heel had been digging into his companion’s toes for far too long and he hadn’t noticed.  

It was neither. Though perhaps one of them may still be in danger.  

Shoulders tensed from the sudden impact, The East Wind glanced sideways, blinking sharply at the sight of ’s firm hand against the wall and symbolising dominance over him, malachites wandered along the firm and lean arm to the possibly too close for comfort man in front of him. The silence drew on and his eyes wavered, moving between squarely Watching him back and dodging his asinine orbs completely. Nerves egging him on, Salim finally broke the sudden silence.  

“a-ah… um….. you. ..you should… Do you know you look kinda scary when you’re angry? “

Was he even angry though?

I’m. Really. Not. Good. At. Socialising. I mean. Once the initial anxiety of actually going over to someone and talking to them is overcome, sure, I can sort of ease into a comfortable conversation where I literally wont stop vomiting words... but Sal is so good at dealing with people.

Come on, there’s so many differences - for one he can lockpick (tbh I’ve once unlocked a padlock just by listening. BUT HE LIKE DOES IT AS IF HE’S JUST CASUALLY CHEWING GUM)
